this morning i was in a funk. as per usual.
anyways, i've had this sweet potato in the pantry for a little while now, i guess... and i wanted to make myself a sweet potato today for snack, so i pulled it from the bag, and it has grown this pink appendage. for some reason it really creeped me out. i was afraid to turn my back on it, in fear that it would grow at supernatural speed and take over my apartment. why is it pink? and why am i sO freaked out by it? right now i have it on the mantle of my fireplace, because for some reason i can not bring myself to simply throw it away. we shall see what transpires.

dude...if we haven't heard from you for a few days, i will assume that the Evil Sweet Potato Monster is holding you hostage, tying you to the radiator with its evil pink appendage.
oh we have a whole box of hammonton's own sweet potato monsters on the porch. i will check the color of the apendages and report back.
